FMCG Depot was built on a simple idea: make it easy for retailers, wholesalers and importers anywhere in the world to buy authentic, fast-moving consumer goods from one dependable European partner. Most buyers arrive looking for a single brand, then find in the rest of what we hold beyond our sourcing of that line the makings of a properly composed load.
Based in Aalter, Belgium — on Europe’s busiest trade corridor, with direct access to Antwerp and Rotterdam — we source directly and through established EU trade channels. The location is not decoration: a buyer in Lagos, Jeddah or Santo Domingo is dealing with a supplier that sits inside the single market where the goods are manufactured, trades on a Belgian VAT and EORI registration, and can put stock on a quay in the country it was warehoused in.
The range is deliberately broad, because a container carrying one category only is an expensive container. A confectionery enquiry can be balanced with beverages to load beside our sourcing of chocolate and biscuit lines, or with the skincare & beauty we ship worldwide filling the light, high-value end of the same booking.
Single pallet, mixed pallet or full container load, we handle the sourcing, paperwork and routing. Quantities, formats and pallet composition are agreed in advance and confirmed in writing on the pro-forma against the allocation actually offered — never estimated on a web page and quietly revised later.
Over a decade of trading has made us a dependable name for buyers who value genuine A-brand stock in original packaging, transparent EXW, FOB, CIF and DAP quoting, and shipments that arrive as quoted — backed by Certificates of Origin, a complete export file, and EUR.1 movement certificates where goods qualify on EU preferential origin.
The sourcing chain behind every case we offer
Any buyer burned once asks the same thing before they ask about price: where did this stock come from, and can you show me? It deserves an answer with mechanics in it.
Where the goods actually come from
We buy genuine brand-owner goods inside the European Union, directly and through established documented trade channels, and hold them in original manufacturer packaging. We do not repack, relabel or decant. What leaves our warehouse is the case that left the producer, printed batch coding intact and outer carton unopened.
What gets checked before a lot is offered to you
Before an allocation is quoted we confirm the pack itself: format and market version, the language set printed on the artwork, batch coding and best-before dating, case and pallet integrity, and whether the labelling suits the destination you named. A lot that fails does not reach your offer — which is why an offer is sometimes narrower than the enquiry.
What we deliberately do not claim
We are a distributor of genuine stock, not a licensee or appointed agent of any manufacturer, and we do not present ourselves as one. Every brand name we use is the property of its owner and is used descriptively, to say what we supply. What you get instead is provenance you can audit: original packaging, traceable batches, and an export file naming a real Belgian company.
Batch, dating and what goes in writing
Remaining shelf life is a commercial term, not a marketing line, so we treat it as one. Batch numbers and best-before dates are confirmed in writing against the lot allocated to your order before you commit, and appear again on the packing list travelling with the goods.
